Hey all, sorry for the delays in posting. We had confirmed with our travel agent that we had internet connection at the 2 hotels we were booked at... turns out they were down in both hotels, Calafate and Ushuaia! Feckin' hard to work when I can't connect. 8-(
The upside is that the trip was great... cold but beautiful, interesting natural and human phenomena. Overall, we did a boat to walking tour of the glacier, walked on the ice, then a view of the top at a park stop. Next day we had a boat tour to several more glaciers, that night we did a tour/dinner of an "estancia" the spanish word for ranch. They raise and shear sheep for their wool.

Ushuaia is next. I'll work on the pix in the next few days... it was colder, but an even better time in a more amazing place. We even met some great people... 8-)
